A Premium Finance Transaction is when a high net worth individual has a large asset base that is currently under-insured. The applicant buys a large policy to meet his/her needs and uses a qualified lender to fund the premiums. The death benefit of the policy is the major source of collateral. This option allows the applicant to have large insurance needs met without liquidating current investment interests (real estate, business, etc...).
